Summary
The article attempts to revise the traditional point of view on land tenure dynamics from 1907-1913. A statistical analysis of Stolypin's land reform made by the author clarifies basic trends of Russian land policy and reveals their qualitative meanings. The author draws the conclusion that Stolypin's land reform had initiated fundamental changes in public life: it drove national agriculture out of stagnation and substantially changed rural Russia.
