A critical aspect of the Center’s scientific work is the study of the modernization of the Russian peasantry and the cultivation of concepts of agrarian reform in the Russian Federation.  The Center’s scientists are all professional members of the Federation Counsel For the Development of Agrarian Reform chaired by E.S.Stroev.

In cooperation with the Moscow Institute For the Improvement of Qualifications of Workers in Public Education, researchers from the Center have devised several new concepts, including ethnology in the secondary educational system, and at present they are preparing for the publication of a textbook appropriate for middle school application.
